DO WHAT JESUS DID (DWJD) VOLUNTEER FORM
& CODE OF CONDUCT AGREEMENT
Do What Jesus Did (DWJD) volunteers serve as representatives of Jesus Christ and this ministry. As a volunteer, I agree to conduct myself in a manner that honors Christ, reflects biblical values, and supports the mission and leadership of DWJD.
I agree to live and serve with integrity, humility, love, and respect toward all people. I will reflect Christlike character in my words, actions, and attitudes. I will avoid gossip, divisive behavior, harassment, abuse, or discrimination. I will maintain appropriate personal, spiritual, and physical boundaries at all times and respect the safety, dignity, and privacy of others.
I agree to work cooperatively with DWJD leadership and fellow volunteers. I will follow the direction and guidelines of DWJD leadership during all ministry activities. I will address conflict biblically, respectfully, and privately. I will receive correction with humility and a teachable spirit. I understand that volunteer service is a privilege, not a right.
I agree to represent DWJD truthfully and responsibly. I will not promote personal agendas, businesses, or other ministries or churches while serving. I will use DWJD resources and branding appropriately. I will protect the confidentiality of personal or sensitive information shared during ministry activities.
I understand that social media activity can impact the reputation and mission of DWJD. When posting publicly in a manner that identifies me as a DWJD volunteer or reasonably connects me to the ministry, I agree to communicate with wisdom, respect, and integrity. I will not post content that is divisive, misleading, inappropriate, or inconsistent with biblical values or the mission of DWJD. I will not speak on behalf of DWJD without authorization and will refrain from sharing confidential, sensitive, or private ministry information on social media platforms.
I hereby grant Do What Jesus Did, Inc. (DWJD) permission to photograph, video record, audio record, and otherwise capture my likeness, image, voice, name, and testimony during volunteer activities, events, outreaches, services, trainings, or related ministry functions. I understand and agree that such media may be used by DWJD, without compensation, for ministry, promotional, educational, fundraising, marketing, print, digital, social media, website, livestream, or archival purposes. I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished media and release DWJD from any claims, demands, or liabilities arising out of the use of such media. This permission is granted voluntarily and remains in effect unless revoked in writing.
I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree with the Do What Jesus Did Statement of Faith and its expression of essential Christian beliefs. I agree to serve in alignment with these beliefs and affirm that, while representing DWJD, I will not state verbally, in writing, or on social media anything that is contrary to the basic Christian beliefs affirmed by DWJD.
I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in activities, events, outreaches, training, ministry functions, and services conducted or sponsored by DWJD at various locations. I understand that such participation involves inherent risks, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, emotional distress, property damage, or other losses. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks, whether known or unknown. In consideration of being permitted to serve as a volunteer, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue DWJD from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation, whether caused by the negligence of DWJD or otherwise, and I agree to indemnify and hold harmless DWJD from any claims or expenses arising from my actions as a volunteer.
I understand that failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in corrective action or removal from volunteer service at the discretion of DWJD leadership. By signing below, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to abide by this Volunteer Code of Conduct.
